Just bring some good humour and over ambitions. You’ll be given some rough instructions, plus some guidance if you want it, but the rest is up to you! WONKY POT WORKSHOP!
Learn ancient pinch pot pottery techniques in this GLAZED HOMEWARES workshop run by POTS N PINTS potter Anna. You’ll be shown how to make a mug, but you can opt for a vase, plates or even a teapot! The skills are all transferable and Anna is on hand to help you achieve whatever whacky ideas you may have. You’ll use a delicious speckled stoneware clay, that as standard will be glazed with a clear gloss glaze. If you’d like to add some colour and decoration, you can join us at a second session to paint your homewares too!!! 14 years+ From £30 p/p INCLUDES A DRINK 🍺🍸🍷🥂
PRIVATE POTTERY PARTIES
We run creative pop-up pottery parties for hen dos, birthdays, work socials, baby showers, corporate events + MORE for groups of 6 - 50 people! Workshops of tailored to you, so whether you have a set goal and want to learn killer pottery techniques or would like to play with clay and let those creative juices flow, we are here for you! All ages and abilities welcome. From £150 per workshop.
POTTERY-IN-THE-COMMUNITY
We run regular, affordable community workshops for those most vulnerable in our community. Pottery workshops are meditative and therapeutic and an amazing way to unleash creativity, build confidence, learn skills and have fun. We strive to make it accessible for all, and run workshops for people with varying abilities. If you know of a community group who may benefit from a one-off or regular pottery workshops, then do get in contact. We are happy to work with limited budgets.
POT HEADS
We’ve teamed up with youth clubs and education providers across Dorset to deliver fun pottery classes for our younger potters! Pen Pot Heads are our most popular workshop and can be made from airdry or regular terracotta clay, and take between between 2 - 4 hours to make, and can be painted with acrylics once dry!
